Kikko Health Appoints John Hartley as Clinical Lead & Product Strategist

Kikko Health is proud to announce the appointment of John Hartley as our new Clinical Lead & Product Strategist — a significant addition to our growing team as we continue to strengthen our clinical expertise and expand our evidence-based product offering.

With over 25 years’ experience working across elite sport, John is one of the most respected and well-rounded physiotherapists in the performance landscape. His career spans the Premier League, Championship, League One and Rugby League’s Super League, alongside roles supporting England’s football development squads and the Men’s Senior England Rugby League team. His ability to operate seamlessly in both club and international environments makes him uniquely positioned to guide the evolution of our product strategy.

John’s clinical portfolio includes a range of prestigious qualifications, including the FA ATMMiF, NSCA CSCS, and the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. He is a Gold Accredited Member of the ACPSEM and has been listed on the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapists (IFSPT) Register since 2016 — a marker of global recognition in the field.

Across his career, John has led physiotherapy departments, contributed to multidisciplinary performance teams, and delivered rehabilitation pathways that have supported athletes at every stage of performance and recovery. His specialist interest in career longevity, supported by his professional doctorate at the University of Birmingham, aligns directly with Kikko Health’s mission to advance informed, data-driven practice across the sector.

John’s new role will see him shape the clinical direction of our product ecosystem, develop practitioner-focused resources and education, and contribute to our upcoming Report Series and Recover. Perform. Excel. podcast.

His blend of clinical insight, academic depth and experience in high-performance environments brings a valuable new dimension to Kikko Health — one that will further enhance the support we provide to clinicians, therapists and performance teams across the UK and Ireland.

We are delighted to welcome John to the team and look forward to the impact he will make as we continue to elevate rehabilitation and performance standards across the industry.
